In celebration of International Mother Language Day, Radio Educación has launched the Nimbeë call. This initiative offers free audio recording, editing, and mixing of music productions for soloists or groups with original projects. This year, a special category called “A rock for Marcial” has been introduced in honor of composer Marcial Alejandro.

La Esquina del Blues and other music remains present as part of these events. This movement has been created in response to the worsening immigration laws and the mistreatment of Mexican migrants in the United States. Various Mexican musicians have joined the "Paisano Pro Migrantes MEXA Movement," offering support through this initiative.

Regarding the concerts of New York Jazz All Stars, various artists such as Ekep Nkwelle Quartet, Herlin Riley Quartet, Stefon Harris & Blackout, Ven Wender Quartet, among others, will perform. Additionally, prizes have been established for the winners of the Nimbeë call so they can record their productions at Radio Educación facilities. The competition rules and closing deadlines are available on the Radio Educación website.

To support Mexican migrants in emergency situations, an application has been developed with various useful features, such as panic buttons, information on human rights, legal advice, translators, among other resources. The opening event of the concert cycle at El Cantoral will feature Wayne Escoffery, a tenor saxophonist who won a Grammy in 2014 and is recognized in the Downbeat Critics Poll.
